We raced last Sunday at the Mid East H.S. in Boiling Springs, NC.  It turned out to be a great day.. The weather was a little cooler and track conditions were perfect.  I got the holeshot against the other 6 guys and held the lead until the 5 mile marker, when Charlie Mullins caught me.  I continued to hold on 2nd for the rest of the day.  My next year's team mate and good friend from South Africa, Kenny Gilbert stayed behind me all day. I ended up with a front flat on the last lap, but continued to push.  By the end of the race, I had almost a 2 minute lead on him( we won't say how much Charlie had on me..) and was well pleased with my efforts.Check holeshot pic!!!!!
