Hey guys! We had a long
weekend of racing, with the Southridge
Winter series final, and the Cal State
Series opener this weekend. Randy and
Taylor (XC and DH) raced the Southridge
final, with Randy landing a top 5 overall!
Also, Taylor had a great sprint finish and
placed inside the top ten overall again for
Semi-Pro.
Ara rode the 102 mile
Solvang Century yesterday, then raced his
Expert XC race today! Randy also raced
AGAIN today (maybe if he does one more
tomorrow, he'll have a trifecta?).
Vanessa Humic and Dawn Lyons
(both expert XC) took home GOLD AND SILVER
for the series opener, making them the team
to beat. Vanessa won despite a major crash
that saw a huge gash in her elbow for the
entire back half of the race.
It was 80 degrees in So Cal
today, and the
Amino Vital was great. The
new Carbide's rocked, the tires were
perfect, EVERYTHING went well and all the
sponsor stuff Roger had out/HANDED OUT was
greatly appreciated by race attendees.
Thanks again, and an official report should
be on the blog by Tuesday, pending
photographs.
Bert Blanchette
took second in Super-D (pro) on his Carbide,
Brant Hatton took 1st (expert) in Super-D,
and Matt Thome (new guy!) took 3rd in XC!

Roger and Brant went to the
L.A. Wheelmen's famous Fargo Street Hill
Climb and we were on ABC NEWS on channel 7
in Los Angeles! Brant rocked the hill climb
and rolled some nice wheelies for the camera
crew. Look for it on YouTube!
