Logan, UT, May 10th, 2008 - Heather Holmes recorded her first wins of the 2008 season, taking the top spot on back to back weekends at the Intermountain Cup series of XC races.

Win # 1 came at the 14th Annual Showdown at 5-Mile Pass on May 5th followed by her winning the  Wimmers XC at Sherwood this past weekend. She was joined by teammate Amanda Riley-Carey who, despite mid-race illness, pulled off a 3rd place at the event. Conditions seemed more appropriate for a ski race as the promoters had to shovel pathways through snow drifts and in some areas, create alternate trails for the athletes to ride on.

The entire team gathers this coming weekend in California for the 3rd round of the NMBS, where we hope to find sunny skies and no snow.
