Kenda Titus Hayes Tops at Coyote Classic, Podium at SE
Series

Boise, ID May 4, 2008 - Team Kenda Titus Hayes took two of three podium spots at the
Coyote Classic MTB race this
past weekend. Amanda Riley-Carey
took the top spot at the AMBC
event and Zephanie Blasi placed
third. This event marked the
return to racing by Blasi who
has been out with an illness
since March. Starting near the
back, she steadily rode through
the field to stand on the podium
with her teammate Amanda for the
first time this season. Welcome
back Zeph!
Meanwhile, back in the east,
Robert and Philicia Marion took
part in the fourth round of the
South Eastern Regional
Championship Mountain Bike
Series race May 4th in
Ducktown, Tennessee. Held at the
Ocoee Whitewater Center, the
challanging course consisted of
a 3-mile climb to begin the
race, then a fun, flowing
singletrack, followed by a
3-mile downhill. The
Professional Men's category ran
a 3-lap race totaling 33miles.
Robert started the race well,
going up the first climb in 4th
place. He stayed in that
position most of the race, but
had a surge on the final lap,
passing 2 men to gain the 2nd
place spot. The Pro/Expert
ladies field also race for
33miles. Philicia finished 7th
place in a largest field of
women the series has seen this
year, which consisted mostly of
Professional ladies.
Until the next race-
