Mike and I are still up in Sebastopol, California where we continue to get in some epic winter training even though it really does feel like winter here now. Luckily we are starting to train more specifically rather than just really long so we are managing to get in what we need. It helps to have the extra infusion of motivation from the tour of California talk that has taken over the state.
We are getting ready to head to Chile in the beginning of March to get acclimated and put the final touches on the conditioning for the continential championships that will be held in Santiago.
After this our seasonal logistics are still solidifying but It looks like we will be heading directly from Chile to the first round of the world cup in South Africa. We will spend two weeks there, compete in as many races then fly to Munich to pick up an RV or for a eight week stint of european racing including the world cups in Germany Belgium and Spain. (I attached our race schedule below).
It looks like this will be a season with a lot of travel and time on the road. Good thing we had a bit of down time because now It's on!
Mike and I are getting pretty excited for this season!
