Kenda Tires USA Agrees to Sponsor

21 year-old LPGA Sensation Teresa Lu

Columbus, Ohio – Sterling Sports Management (“Sterling”) announced that one of their new LPGA golfers, Teresa Lu, has signed an endorsement agreement with Kenda Tires. Teresa will wear the Kenda Tires logo on the left chest and right collar of her golf apparel. The addition of Teresa to the Kenda Tires brand continues a strong tradition of working with professional athletes. Outside of golf, Kenda currently sponsors athletes in Biking, Motorcycle, auto racing, ATV, and wheelchair. Early this year, Kenda also signed an endorsement agreement with PGA Tour Rookie Travis Perkins.

Jimmy Yang, President of Kenda USA, had this to say about the signing of Teresa. "We are very pleased to be working with this fine lady from Taiwan. The fact that Teresa is from Taiwan, where the Kenda Group is based, adds more meaning to this sponsorship. Originally from Taiwan, Teresa did not start playing golf until she was 11 years old. After coming to the United States, Teresa quickly showed that she could play and was named a 2005 First Team Rolex Junior All-American. Since turning professional in 2006, Teresa has seen a meteoric rise to prominence on the LPGA Tour. All of her hard work and dedication have been mirrored in her results during the past two seasons. Multiple Top 10 finishes, including a T-3 at the Ginn Open, a T-10 at the Fields Open, and most recently a T-10 at the US Women’s Open. She is currently ranked #18 on the LPGA’s Money List.
